Battlestar Galactica episodes FAN DOCUMENT :Written by Kathy Charpie 11 August 2005 I have a concern about the Cylons , Commander Adama Battlestar Galactica and Pegasus. No one has attempted to explain the history of the Cylons. And in a TV Guide article Olmos states that when Adama is shot he "isn’t all there". My view on the Cylons is as follows. The Cylons were robots created to do heavy manual work on the planets and in space. A company that made them was headed by a man who when losing his wife became introverted and only payed attention to his work ignoring his sons. One of them tried to get his attention by working hard in the company and succeeding in getting promoted. But he lost his family in the meantime. He failed to win his father’s approval . The father as head of the company wanted to do things his way, the son wanted to diversify the robot company with cyborgs (half machine, half human). A dear mentor died and he mourned his loss. He could have been made a cyborg and lived to help refining the robots. Actually the son had the mentor become a cyborg and when he revealed that to Dad, the father became furious that his son went behind his back to do so and fired him. But he did so at the family house. The son and cyborg killed the father and left the house. Police were out seeking both for the murder. But the son became a cyborg with the help of some scientists taking his position. Some of them also became cyborgs. When the police surrounded the lab, it was set on fire. The cyborgs hid in a shipment of robots. They had marked themselves to be shipped to the main data base command center of the robots. There they reprogrammed the computer to attack all humans. But they missed their human sensory input. So they kidnaped/recruited scientists to make the machines more "human like". With the human DNA experiments they did, they thought that they were God and intended to replace mankind with their own version. After the cylon attempt to destroy Galactica the military takes on new recruits. One is an older female (Sarah Driscoll). She is approached by a TV reporter to do inside probing on the inside attack on the civilians. She agrees, but while climbing through the air vents she comes across Baltar and his strange behavior. She finds the remains of the Cylon robots and with the Chief puts together a headset. There is however one Cylon crystal to the whole heap of remains. But it allows Driscoll when she is outside in space on patrol to hear the Cylons approach and warn the fleet of danger .Adama has her sent to the brig and checked out in sickbay. He is disappointed she is not Cylon but he pursues her in order to find out how she knew about the Cylons coming. At a hearing she states that she studied the Cyclons and their attack patterns at the University of Caprica and got "lucky" in predicting them .She is released but Adama still watches her (almost you could say to the point of stalking). Driscoll in their talks tells him he needs to concentrate on fixing the ship, he asks her how. She tells him they need a industry and the Cylons are the only ones with that. They need to attack the Cylons and get the supplies they need from them to survive rather than run and hid like cowards (Adama doesn’t like the word "cowards"and gets angry at her). So a mission is planed to infiltrate the Cylons and hopefully gather some information they can use. Driscoll is part of the expedition. After the expedition has left Adama gets a call from the doctor in sick bay that Driscoll is pregnant. Adama goes to Driscoll’s locker and searches for any evidence linking him with her and finds old articles and Driscoll’s personal notes on Baltar and her thoughts of the Cylons sending in a Cylon human to help Baltar’s network. Plus he finds a disk. He finds it is about Baltar and he is conversing with someone .Baltar mentions stuff that links him with the Cylons and that he is giving away information to them. The Battlestar Galactica a ship with a set blueprint. I hope you have one in front of you and when certain areas are damaged you mark them. Also that you leave open corridors and living quarters accessible. I will stop watching the show as soon as I can’t believe the ship is a viable one.. In the original Battlestar Galactica the Pegasus suddenly appears out of nowhere. However you have left a group of humans on the planet Caprica. Isn’t it time for them to be rescued? I do like the new Battlestar Galactica. The original series was very one-dimensional. Now the characters are more human and the Cylons are more in keeping with the idea of what robots should be. Don’t worry I do know the show is not real. As a child my family moved around a lot. While traveling I would pass the time making up stories. Once in awhile I can make up some about the shows I watch. I don’t watch many shows now. Take what I have made up as an act of imagination. A fan. Kathy Charpie
